We are thrilled to say: “The moment is HERE!” We couldn’t wait to reveal our exclusive interview with wedding dress designer Allison Webb and debut of her new gowns. One thing we are certain of – is that our Strictly Weddings lovelies – will fall hard for the elegance, timelessness and pure romance that exudes from her wedding dress designs. Each one a statement in its own right. Hand-crafted to amplify the bride’s natural beauty. This collection is filled to the brim with clean lines, exquisite laces and touches of delicate embroideries. Watching on the runway of New York at Bridal Fashion Week, we were in awe. Gown after gown, had us cheering for the bride who is in search of polished sophistication blended with a modern touch.

SW: What three words best describe you?
Allison: Enthusiastic, loyal, caring

SW: What is your favorite part of being a bridal designer?
Allison: Designing! I love being creative and coming up with new gown ideas. There is nothing like seeing your vision come to life.

SW: What things inspire you while creating your designs?
Allison: I often look to architecture, abstract expressionist art, and flowers for inspiration. Architecture and interior design elements inspire sculptural shapes and help provide the starting point for draping ideas. Artists like Mark Rothko provide a lot of color inspiration, and I draw upon natural flowers for floral embellishment and embroidery ideas.
