We are talking serious flower power here.
Tulip Fever Beyond the Bouquet
Transforming the floral school of the talented Dutch florist Alice Calcasloa, this team created a tulip wonderland using thousands of British grown white blooms supplied by Smith and Munson. Attaching tulips to a glorious heart shaped tree for a dramatic cascade effect and hanging hundreds of white ribbons to weave the tulip heads and bulbs. Throughout the tablescape floral was woven into charger-like replicas that surrounded each place setting being the only floral on the table aside from the beautiful chair back décor that added to the rustic charm. The table setting ware from brass and green tones were simple, yet gave a cohesive feel. Above the table was the large floral ribbon design that perfectly incorporated vast amounts of delicate texture and the main colors of the themed shoot. This lovelies, is how you create tulip fever beyond the bouquet. But, we would be remiss in not mentioning that glorious beauty that ties into the raw feel of this organic gem. Elizabeth’s Cake Emporium, of course NEVER disappoints. We don’t know how she does it, but her creativity knows no bounds. Adding to the overall concept planning, she also whisked up several cakes and sweet treats including a 5-tier white and green ruffle cake with white sugar tulips, a green crackle effect cake, a two tier watercolor effect cake and a gold hand painted distressed cake.
