As we covered bridal designers at New York Bridal Fashion Week for 2018, our Strictly Weddings team kept reflecting on how this time of year is like the bridal Super Bowl. Between the anticipation of their collection releases, every ounce of time, drop of energy and glorious detail that goes into planning their shows – it becomes a sensational spectacle to celebrate. Bridal designers at New York Bridal Fashion Week enchanted thousands with pre- and post- bashes, productions that dropped jaws and gowns that took your breath away. For the past three years, we have had the privilege of partnering with luxury wedding photographer Duke Images and his team. He is not just a story-teller of brides and love stories, but knows how to frame fashion, on and off the runway. A serious win-win for us. From the new “baked from scratch” fabrics that Hayley Paige conceived this season, the art gallery presentation of Pronovias’ masterpieces to Kleinfeld’s high-energy fashion show of Pnina Tornia. We are unduly impressed. One might say, awed. Ines Di Santo once again captured our romantic side with her fashion forward gowns that brought a new level of colored classiness to the forefront. While Berta, whom we discovered in 2013 – before making things go “viral” was a thing, shimmed and sparkled their way down the runway with their three collections in front of a packed room. Of course, as we well know, their shows now go beyond the exclusive invite sitting along the runway. With the power of social media and live abilities on Facebook and Instagram, the heightened access to bridal designers at New York Bridal Fashion Week can now grab attention of millions and well … get-them-talking.
